Lines and Layers is my online studio and creative starting point.
Here, I share my drawings and paintings, as well as my journey of developing a personal artistic style.
The name reflects the essence of my work: lines as the beginning of every idea, and layers as an expression of depth, time, and transformation. No artwork is created in a single step — each piece grows through multiple stages.
This website is an evolving exhibition. It documents my creative process without the pressure of selling or finished answers, leaving space for exploration, change, and growth.
About me as an artist
My name is Annah Renberg, a 27-year-old artist based in Germany. Creating art is my way of stepping out of everyday life and quieting my thoughts. Drawing and painting allow me to slow down, focus, and be fully present in the process.
I enjoy experimenting with new techniques and materials, letting curiosity guide my work. Each medium opens up new possibilities and challenges, which keeps my practice in motion.
I am looking forward to gradually developing my own artistic style — not as a fixed destination, but as an evolving language shaped by time, exploration, and experience.
