Why do I like acryl as medium?

Acrylic painting is still relatively new to me, and compared to working with charcoal, I need significantly more time for the layering process to achieve the results I’m aiming for. I enjoy working with acrylic for its versatility and immediacy. The paint allows me to build layers, experiment with textures, and play with color and light in a way that feels both controlled and spontaneous. Acrylic encourages exploration and keeps my practice dynamic, offering endless possibilities to bring ideas to life.
