This mixed media drawing was set aside for five years before being completed. At the time, I struggled to find an approach to rendering the fur, and everyday life gradually drew me away from drawing altogether. Returning to this piece marked a turning point—it brought me back into the practice. Working with pastel pencil, soft pastel, and Polychromos pencils, the drawing reflects patience and a return to the drawing process.
